Today's Fanboy Delusion

Today I'd rather be...

... keeping cool with Elijah Wood.

Two things. One: The air conditioning in my office has broken down today and my brains are boiling. BOILING. Boiling.

And two: Anybody else watching Wilfred? I kind of like Wilfred. It's not blowing my mind - note: like this HEAT is - but it's a decent viewing experience. Plus Elijah looks good these days.

But like I said: BOILING. So thoughts, all thoughts, not working. Just stare at pictures of water now.

Well, WILFRED isn't blowing my mind as you say but it's very, very solid and Elijah is surprisingly hilarious. Who knew Frodo has such great comedic timing? I still can't quite wrap my head around the logistics of it, but the story's got me invested.

I've been watching Wilfred and enjoying it! I find parts are laugh out loud funny, "What do you call those?" "Legs," but other moments are definitely quietly unsettling and eerie so I like the juxtaposition. I was worried that because his character is depressed that Elijah would have to do teary Frodo face a lot but I don't think he's done it much if at all. And even though I am so picky about American versions of foreign tv shows (US Office makes me disappointed) I find Wilfred a success. I decided to watch the original after seeing the third episode and, aside from the geographical jokes that I don't get, I find the adaption and changes successful.
Blah blah blah, long winded.
P.S. I haven't been able to look at your updates for a few days but I have to say Marry and Do Matthew "Neville Longbottom" Lewis, yum! I live in the Washington DC area and he was here last Wednesday for Potter reasons. I have never been more excited for anything Harry Potter. He is soooooo extra lovely when he's not Neville.
