Your Wand's In My Eye, Harry Potter

.

I have a question! I'm looking into buying my Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 tickets (god I need a nap after writing out that full title) and am going back and forth, back and forth, over whether to bother seeing it in 3D or not. I can't decide! I'm leaning towards not - it was converted in post-production, right? - but I do want to EXPERIENCE this movie in capital letters so maybe I should just go for it. It's our last roundabout with the boy wizard, after all. And then they're showing it in IMAX too aren't they? ARGH! But it definitely wasn't shot in IMAX... but still. Oh what to do. I know, I will ask you people. What are you planning on?

Don't encourage them. If we keep buying tickets to their shitty 3D conversions, they'll keep doing it.

I've been skipping 3D for most everything this year so I don't know why I'm having this crisis over HP. I suppose I'm projecting my panic over the series ending onto this, or whatever. Point is, DON'T LEAVE ME HARRY OH GOD DON'T LEAVE. Ahem.

I don’t watch 3D much also. But since it’s for the Boy Who Lived, I’m gonna give it a special treatment. 3D and on the biggest screen as possible.

Only screen I want to EXPERIENCE this on for the first time is the Imax at AMC Lincoln Square. And thankfully they are not showing it there in 3D. Just the MASSIVE MASSIVE screen.
