This is after he drank the possessed tequila worm, right? God I have to watch all the Poltergeists again some time. Anyway this "Vomit Creature" was played by a man named Noble Craig, and he the world's awesomest IMDb page. Look at his credits.
Besides the aforementioned Vomit Creature, he's played a Snake Man, a Sewer Monster, a Puddle Soldier, a Crypt Creature, and the Merging Freddy in A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child.
After a little googling I learned the secret to Noble Craig's success in a review of the film where he played the Snake Man, delightfully called Sssssss:

"... Noble Craig, an actor with no legs and one arm."
Noble Craig is a fucking superstar. Where's his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?

I believe you mean Tim McGraw, the Snake Man.
Anne Sellors for life.
Oh my god, thank you for reminding me of "Sssssss"! That movie is such a legend in my family. Seems my aunt was watching it on TV as a teenager when my sad snuck up behind her and tossed a phone cord into her lap. I know EXACTLY what I'm buying her for the birthday we share.
God what a flimsy mattress and no box spring? MinDC
Inside gossip:
Noble Craig used to be 6'4" (his twin still is) until he jumped on a grenade to save the rest of his fellow soldiers and that's how he lost both legs and an arm. Now he's 3'2" and says he's half the man he used to be...but now he's hung to the ground! lol
So, yes, this guy is awesome and he was awesome way before he was an actor when he risked his own life & limbs for our freedoms.
