I used up all my pictures of him in my previous gratuitous post, eek! That one'll just have to do. Anyway no sooner had I hit post for that one then I saw this news at the LAT:
Joel Edgerton signs on for Kathryn Bigelow's Bin Laden movie
Australian Joel Edgerton will play a special operative in the picture, said two sources familiar with the project who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to discuss it. The actor will be part of an ensemble of male commandos.
Edgerton, who has been short-listed for a number of high-profile roles recently (including one of the leads in "The Hunger Games" and the Bourne reboot), passed on the opportunity to work opposite Kristen Stewart in "Snow White and the Huntsman" to climb aboard the Bin Laden film.
Okay, that's cool about the Bigelow movie but what's this about The Hunger Games? Who the hell would he play? MTV speculates Haymitch or President Snow, but I dunno about that. Hrm. Ideas?

I could see him playing Haymitch, actually. It depends on the tone they're going for, I guess. Other than that .... erm, is there anyone else? Peeta's dad? Who gives a fuck about him?
Ohhhh, he would make a SWELL Haymitch! I like that idea a great deal.
Finnick Odair would be my guess. Though I always pictured Ryan Reynolds.
