Somehow I never knew that Dominic Cooper played Will Parry in the original stage version of His Dark Materials in 2003. (Insert "He can poke me with his subtle knife any time" joke here.) Anyway, huh! Learn something every day!
I'm so sad we're never gonna get a full film version of these books. How long until they can try again? Ten years? Twenty? Maybe Dom can play Lord Asriel by then.

I loved those books... they needed their own Peter Jackson to fight to get the story to screen to the end. Though I can't help wonder how some parts of The Amber Spyglass would translate to screen. That one was really mind-blowing.
