Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

... you can learn from:

"Parks and Recreation"
.

Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari): Zerts are what I call desserts. Tray-trays are entrees. I call sandwiches sammies, sandoozles, or Adam Sandlers. Air conditioners are cool-blasterz, with a z. I don’t know where that came from. I call cakes big ol’ cookies. I call noodles long-ass rice. Fried chicken is fri-fri chicky-chick. Chicken parm is chicky chicky parm parm. Chicken cacciatore? Chicky catch. I call eggs pre-birds, or future birds. Root beer is super water. Tortillas are bean blankies. And I call forks…. Food rakes.

I never eat chicken parmesan but I want to order it everywhere I go from now on just so I can call it "chicky chicky parm parm." Last night's Parks & Rec was, what, the fiftieth straight gut-busting episode? I hope y'all watch this show, because it is possibly, give or take a Fringe, my favorite thing on TV right now. It's like the magic hour, a place where you realize that every single aspect of something is firing on every cylinder, working perfectly. It's a delight. If you asked me to name a favorite character I might have a breakdown, there is so much to love.

And I never thought Aziz would be one of those things, his schtick wasn't my favorite beforehand, but they temper him with so much sweetness and rascally tiny-man buffoonish joy that you can't help but love it.

I agree completely JA...if there is any way to die of laughter, I almost experienced it at this part =D
This would be the second time Parks and Rec has almost done this to me this season...the first time was at Chris's "Stop...POOPING" moment...which was just unbearably funny =D

Why is this show so great? The one flaw I thought this season had was no good Tom episodes (too much great work from Adam, Rob, Nick and Chris) but this episode turns up proving that this show has the STRONGEST ensemble yet again.

(and Ben and Leslie are so adorable.)
