It's finally official - Jennifer Lawrence is going to
play Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games.

bcarter3 said...: The decision to cast the “older” Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, instead of a mid-teenager like Hailee Steinfeld, definitely improves Hunter Parrish's chances of getting the Peeta role. I’d be fine w/Josh Hutcherson, too. He’s been excellent in everything I’ve seen him do.

And while Hunter Parrish is the frontrunner for Peeta according to everything I've read this week, I still contend that he'd make a better Finnick.
