Quote of the Day

.
Aww, Josh Hutcherson is a boy after my geeky heart. Listen to him talk how much he wants to play a certain part in The Hunger Games:

“I love Peeta,” he says of Katniss Everdeen’s dependable ally in Suzanne Collins’ riveting trilogy. “The character is so much who I am — self deprecating, a people person. And he’d be such a great character to play! Like in the third book? Oh my God.”

Hutcherson reports that he’s read an old version of the script and has since had meetings with director Gary Ross. “But they’re meeting a lot of people right now,” he says. “One can only dream.”

Oh now I want him to get the part, just based off his sheer adorkable enthusiasm alone. I did like him as Laser in The Kids Are All Right and his name has come up positively in the Peeta conversation before. He's about seventeen billion times better suited to the role than Alex Pettyfer at least. He already lost out on Spider-Man. Give the kid a break! (thanks Jon!)

Isn't he about a foot shorter than Jennifer Lawrence, though?

He is a wee man and she does seem enormous. It's a definite point.

He'd be better suited to a role in The Hobbit movie, especially since Jennifer looks WAY older than him.

Her casting, however, would open the door for my original Peeta (Hunter Parrish) to come back into play

Josh is so wee, but besides height, physically he's kind of perfect for Peeta.
Is this Jennifer Lawrence thing a sure thing in the Hollywood scene rumor mill? As much as I like her, I hate the idea of her playing Katniss. HATE.

Hunter Parrish IMO should play Finnick. More opportunity for him to be almost naked. Please.

He has had my heart since Bridge to Terabithia. Have you seen it JA? It is a children's movie but damn, the final act of that movie was gutpunch.
