My Boy Bradford

.

Even though it's not a lot of information and it will probably inevitably end up being disappointing (always the optimist) I am contractually (written in body fluids) obligated by my long-standing never-dying crush on Jesse Bradford to share any news on him that crosses my eyes. Here's something!

"Jesse Bradford will star in the ABC comedy pilot "Other People's Kids." He was most recently seen in the skein "Outlaw." Other credits include "Flags of Our Fathers" and "W."

I guess those credits are the more respectable ones on his resume, but he won our hearts in Bring It On so its absence of mention brings the sads. He brushed his teeth, Variety! God. Anyway I tried to find a little more on this show and THR had this to say back in January:

ABC Picks Up 'Other People's Kids' Pilot

ABC has given a pilot order to a half-hour comedy.

From ABC Studios and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Other People's Kids centers on a 32-year-old guy who has no responsibilities and falls in love with an older woman, and finds himself thrust into her family that includes two children, an ex-husband and ex-in-laws.

Hunter Covington, who worked on My Name Is Earl and 100 Questions, penned the script for the multicamera project. Stacy Traub and Peter Traugott serve as executive producers."

And then I see over here that Judith Light's on the show too. She is not the older woman that Jesse Falls for though - that'd be a little bit further on the older side I think for America to take. She's playing the ex-mother-in-law of the older woman, who is being played by Bonnie Sommerville, who has heaps of TV work behind her including Friends and NYPD Blue and The OC. And damn I didn't intend to write up all this - Jesse always gets me carried away. Here are some pictures I've never posted before to get the taste of all those exhausting words out of our eyes.

"Bring it On" got my attention, "Swimfan" kept me watching and "I hope they serve beer in hell" sealed the deal.
