Maybe you remember the post I did for The Film Experience last week about the fact that I'd never seen a James Dean film and how I was very very sorry about that and was going to rectify it by allowing y'all to vote on which one I should watch and then once that was done I'd pop back in and review said choice and all would be good and right and run-on sentences?

Well ta-dah cue this morning where my write-up has appeared. Not shockingly his most iconic role, well-coiffed and misunderstood juvenile delinquent Jim Stark in Rebel Without a Cause, came out on top. So I watched that movie. And then I said to myself, "Self, golly gee, he's nifty. Let's watch all of his movies." So in immediate succession East of Eden and Giant followed. I'm now at Peak Dean, in other words. Head over to TFE to see my thoughts upon it.
