It's kind of hard to believe that Judd Apatow's only directed three feature films at this point, isn't it? His name's synonymous with the schlubby-dude humor of the past decade or so. I suppose the stars he's made have spread outwards and Apatow's certainly produced his fair share of projects that've spread his brand further far and wide (and when it comes to the David Gordon Green branch of this particular funny tree - Pineapple Express, for example - I think they're topping anything he's done himself).
Anyway! Today's his 43rd birthday and so, while the answer seems pretty clear to me who'll come out on top in this battle, we must ask ourselves this question:

It would'nt have been fair to include the TV shows which brought him prominence, Freaks and Geeks or Undeclared, because they'd win all the prizes, period, the end. And in case we feel like bitching about him at all let me ask you to stop and take a breath and remember that he's working on movies that showcase Kristen Wiig and Pee-Wee fucking Herman next, so cut the dude some slack.
