James Franco, Gay Voyeur

I know I've heard this story about James Franco before but perhaps y'all have missed out on it, and here it is from his own luscious lips. When he was doing research to play a man-whore in the movie Sonny - directed by an ass-ogling Nicholas Cage, strangely enough - he shadowed as he puts it a real-life man-whore and watched some man-on-man go down. All in the name of research! He talked about it on Inside the Actors Studio the other day and here's the video:

"The guy said, 'Oh, you wanna play a prostitute? You want some real research? Then come with us,'" Franco recalls. "It went down. Everything went down, as you see in the movies and hear about. The eerie thing is, it was like a movie, but it wasn't a movie -- it was the real thing, happening in front of me."
