BD is reporting - although they warn this is deemed early and unverified - that Jeremy Renner might maybe play Snake Plissken in a new Escape From New York movie. This would be from Breck Eisner, the director of the pretty decent Crazies re-do. (Hopping from remaking Romero to remaking Carpenter, eh? Big balls, man.)
Anyway what do we think of Renner as Snake? If it's gotta be done I know that I'm always down with Renner in leather pants. For the exact same reason I thought he woulda made for a fine Mad Max too. Plus yeah excellent actor, blah blah blah.
