I briefly emphasis on briefly just eulogized the producer Dino De Laurentiis over at The Film Experience and the thing that struck me most while looking through his filmography? How the hell is he not the producer of Red Sonja?
Granted as I admit over there I know next to nothing about the man beyond the sorts of movies I'd attached his name to in my brain, but if ever there was a sort of movie that was that it would've been Red Sonja. He did both the Conans, he did Flash Gordon, he did Dune. I'm sure somebody here on the internet knows the story; I'm sure there's a story. I just dunno it. Anyway he's dead the end.
