I Am Link

.
--- Ring That Bell - I didn't have time when I posted the trailer for The Eagle yesterday to screencap the hotness, but Glenn made the time at Stale Popcorn and those of you who like some Jamie Bell with your morning coffee will surely appreciate.

--- No Don't - Brought this up less definitively yesterday and leave it to Jarett at PopWrap to go and get the answer which we wanted straight from the source (even if the answer is an evasion, it clarifies where we stand at least) - here's Edgar Wright on what he's doing next:

PW: [Fans] still want a "Don't" movie!

Edgar: It’s very sweet. I’m not sure I want a “Don’t” movie – it would be great if it wouldn’t cost someone a lot of money or have a lot of pressure put on it. I don’t want to have the pressure “Machete” did – but I don’t think it would work, part of the whole joke is that the trailer is incomprehensible.

PW: So if that's not on the docket, What's next for you, "Ant-Man?"

Edgar Wright: I don’t know, I haven’t figured out what I’m doing next. I don’t like talking about stuff that doesn’t have a greenlight because I don’t like being on some sort of preordained schedule. It makes me nervous – there are so many people who talk about movies that never happen. I don’t want to be the guy who reads an interview saying, “this movie is going to be so cool” and then never make it. I’m just gonna shut up.

--- Y In Hell - Director Louis Leterrier talked a little bit about what's going on with the adaptation of Brian K. Vaughn's wonderful comic series Y: The Last Man - I guess it's stuck in development hell right now and nobody knows what to do with it, whether it should be a movie or a couple movies or a TV miniseries or what. Maybe the success of The Walking Dead can make it happen, I wonder to myself? God I want to see Yorick & Co. come to life.

--- Into the Moon Rise - You want some details on the plot of Wes Anderson's next movie Moon Rise Kingdom? You can read them here. You want some idea of who's gonna join the cast? How do Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Ed Norton and Bruce Willis sound? You oughta be able to guess since MNPP's got tags for every single one of those actors that it excites me. Yeah I came. Just the thought of Tilda in his world is enough.

--- Snake Less - Jeremy Renner is not gonna play Snake Plissken. I guess our vote really doesn't count after all!
