--- Period Man Whore - Channing Tatum's
going to play a dude that goes to Russia to fuck Catherine the Great's brains out so she's distracted and doesn't get in the way of the American Revolution. I like this spin on history. I want a bunch of movies where Channing Tatum travels through time fucking historical figures into distraction. Little Napoleon riding him like a maniac all the way to Elba!
--- Mr. Wright - It occurred to me during my
Scott Pilgrim screening the other night that we don't really know what Edger Wright's doing next, do we? There's been talk of
Ant Man of course, and talk of his third film with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, perhaps titled
The World's End, but nothing's set in stone yet.
io9 actually talked to him about this a little bit and it seems he and Pegg might get to working on that later one towards the end of this year, if they can get their schedules to sync.
--- Brainsless - Did anybody else think Sunday night's episode of
The Walking Dead kinda, well, reeked? I was surprised, I really dug the first episode. Anyway somebody else does indeed agree with me, namely
my bud Sean. Hopefully they'll pick things up for the third one, seeing as how there are only six episodes in this first season. Bah to that business. Oh and perhaps you've already heard the show's
already gotten a second season pick-up. Perhaps the second season will have seven whole episodes in it! A boy can dream.
--- Carnies At Heart - I know I say this every damn month when Final Girl's Film Club rolls around but man I wish I could've gotten my arse into gear with participating this time around.
I had a lot of fun with
The Funhouse when I saw it for the first time last year and
reading Stacie's write-up made me wanna rewatch it right away.
--- The Boy in Black - Slash has got
a couple moody pics of Daniel Radcliffe all Victorian'd up for
The Woman in Black, the next Hammer movie. He sort of looks like an adult, actually! Does anyone know is this a remake of that old TV movie?
--- Alba Toss - I threw
some brief sarcasm at Jessica Alba at The Film Experience yesterday in case you missed it.
--- Give Him A Hand - Glenn
finished up the first Scream in his scene-by-scene series the other day, in spectacular fashion. Can't wait for Part 2, sir!
--- Titanic Two - James Franco and Javier Bardem
might be slipping on metal skirts for the
Clash of the Titans sequel, which I guess is being called
Wrath of the Titans. Which sounds like somebody with a lisp saying the first movie's title. Anyway as long as the movie has a threeway between them and Sam Worthington - okay, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes can stand on Mt. Olympus watching and touching themselves - then I'm good with this.
--- Oh No Daesu - The
Oldboy remake rumors are
rearing their head again, and Steven Spielberg's still being mentioned. No American studio has the balls to make that movie right. Period. So by all means give us some watered down bullshit. I've always got the original and you can't take it away from me!

TWD has been picked up for 13 eps but I'm sure that'll change if the ratings drop off.
It's indeed a remake of that old TV movie! Have you seen it? It's all sorts of awesome.
"The Lady in Black" is also a great play. I saw it in London a couple of months ago and it was scary!
