Back Again To These Two

.
Michael Haneke's been trying to figure out what his next film would be for awhile now. It's been back and forth between two projects - one mysterious one having to do with the internet, and then a different one that would reunite him with Isabelle Huppert, as well as starring Jean Louis Trintignant, about the effects of old age and called These Two. Well it appears the latter has sprung to the forefront again, says Huppert herself at The Playlist.

"He went back to it. I’m playing the daughter of my two parents, played by Emmanuelle Riva and Jean Louis Trintignant, set in Paris. It will be shooting in a few months."

I love the odd phrasing of that second sentence - the daughter of my two parents. Anyway hooray, Huppert's work in The Piano Teacher is one of the greatest film performances ever given and Haneke's at the top of his game these days. Can't wait.
