I love Paul Verhoeven's Total Recall so very much this remake seems pointless to me, but my boyfriend made a good case for it the other day - he said all they need to do to prove this movie's worthy of existing is have the three-titted hooker also be the midget with the crimped hair this time around. If they mash those two iconic characters together into one three-titted midget hooker with crimped hair then this will all be worth it.
