Today a rumor was born, and today a rumor died. Well maybe not died died, but shriveled up into a corpse-like ball only to be awakened by the confluence of a million unpredictable factors. Over at Contact Music this was propositioned (via):
Nevermind that they say that Fuller was "the mastermind behind Veronica Mars" - um, what? - seeing as how the Munsters reboot was only announced about a week ago as a pilot that NBC's talking about with Fuller this all sounded a little bit fan-fictiony to me. So I called out the person who might know the truth, the magnificent Bryan Fuller himself, and he had this to say:

Brian Fuller, the mastermind behind Bell's TV hit Veronica Mars, wants to reteam with his star when he brings The Munsters back to the small screen.
He says, "Are you kidding me? Kristen would be perfect."

"Some truth in that I think she would be great, but no truth really beyond that because we won't be casting until January if the show ends up getting produced. Lots of hurdles to jump over before we get to cast anybody."
