Gratuitous Boris Kodjoe

.

Ever since I saw the first ad for Undercovers, JJ Abrams' new series for NBC about a pair of sexy married spies (like Hart to Hart!) played by Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, I knew the day for this post was nigh. If Boris had given me a good excuse in the past to do such a post I would've snatched at it, but it hadn't presented itself until now (no, Madea's Family Reunion was not a good excuse).

Has anyone watched the show? Word is the show's fun, and JJ himself directed the pilot just like with Lost. Not that this looks as mythology-heavy as Lost. (And we all saw how that turned out.) But in the grand tradition of Abrams projects it does have an interactive online presence, this time with a scavenger hunt! Get yer Carmen Sandiego on! I love that part of the game is to figure out which of your Facebook friends is a mole. All of my Facebook friends are moles. God I'm rambling, this is what happens when I write before Noon. Chaos! Anyway here's some Kodjoe. The Boris sort, not that scary guy from E!. Shudder. I like that phrase though, The Boris Sort. What?

I've watched the first two episodes and enjoyed them. I was a huge "Alias" fan (only stuck around for the first 3 seasons of that), so this does play like "Alias"-lite. It's a fun show, not very deep or complicated but fun nonetheless.

And Boris looks very good in high-def, btw.
