Production on the fifth film in the Final Destination series has just begun, and BD has the most complete synopsis I've seen of it yet... as if these things need a synopsis. It really is a Mad Libs style of screenwriting:
[Man/Woman] saves [group of people] from [giant disaster] and, having thwarted Death’s design, they must find a way to survive amid unseen malevolent forces.
Or as the studio puts it for this film, "In this fifth installment, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda."
Anyway yay awesome! As I've stated on many an occasion, I never ever want these movies to stop being made. Even the last one, which many people found lacking, made happiness leak out of my ears in a thick and spastic torrent.
Can you believe it's been over ten years since the first one came out? I wish I'd had the wherewithal to celebrate its anniversary which was back in March, but it seems nuts that it's been that long. I'm old. Oh well, Part 2 is my favorite and its ten year anniversary is still two and a half years away. I'll mark that one in my calendar. Stay tuned in 2013!

I can't believe it's been 10 years! We saw the first one for my 14th birthday b/c I had a HUGE crush on Devon Sawa. I feel so old now!
