5 Off My Head - Bill Murray is 60

.
National Treasure Bill Murray turns sixty years old today, can ya believe it? I was just yesterday talking to a friend who saw Passion Play in Toronto - that's the movie where Megan Fox has wings and has sex with Mickey Rourke - and she was telling me how the movie stunk - although thankfully by no fault of Megan's, says my friend - but that Bill Murray, only briefly in it, was terrific. Isn't that his way? Show up, be awesome, give the audience a little patented side-eye that says, "Hey, I know what's going on here, but I have a mortgage," and then shuffle off. Zombieland, Charlie's Angels, Wild Things, Little Shop of Horrors... he's been doing this for many many years now and the cinema is better for it. But then there are those movies where he's around for the entire time and firing on all cylinders and those are the times we remember, good god this man has super talent. Effortless. Here are my five favorites.

Bill Harris, Lost in Translation
"Enjoy my jacket, which you stole from me."
Dr. Peter Venkman, Ghost Busters
"You're right. No human being would stack books like this."
Herman Blume, Rushmore
"Yeah, I was in the shit."
Bob Wiley, What About Bob?
"It reminds me of my favorite poem, which is,
"Roses are red, violets are blue,
I'm a schizophrenic... and so am I!" "
Phil (like the groundhog Phil?), Groundhog Day
"I'm a god. I'm not the God... I don't think."

My favorite of his movies, and favorite Christmas movie for that matter, still has to be _Scrooged_.

Am I the only person that thinks Quick Change is a masterpiece?
