Querelle?

You betcha.

And not to take anything away from your win here, Fer, but I set myself an impossible uphill challenge in picking this movie for this series - every single frame to my eye is unmistakably from Querelle and from nowhere else. Such a singular, strange movie. Blessedly so, of course.

ha!

if it helps, I've watched this movie only once, and it must've been some 23 years ago, I think (yes, I used to watch films as a baby :D), so it really was in the back of the back of my memory ;)

I know you were kidding but I love the image of your parents propping you up as an infant in front of Fassbinder movies of all things. The perfect baby films!

Last April I watched, "Berlin Alexanderplatz", I always told myself that I would watch it before I died. Iam glad that I did. It is well worth it.

It took me forever to finally getting around to watching it, if I hadn't been moving I probably still would be putting it on hold. there was a great video store right around the corner from where I live. As we both know, a great independent video store is a dying breed.
