Quote of the Day

.
Alright, what are you trying to do, Tom Hardy? Give me heart palpitations? In an interview with The Daily Mail (via) he responded with the following when asked if he'd ever fooled around with men before:

"As a boy? Of course I have. I'm an actor for ****'s sake. I've played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now that I'm in my thirties, it doesn't do it for me. I'm done experimenting but there's plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine."

Not only did he give me "imagination" material for the rest of my life right there but he went that extra little mile there at the end and stepped away from directly equivocating homosexuality with femininity, or at least a thing for shoes, which my brain appreciates. This man is one for the record books, y'all. And why aren't I ever at the right place when these right times present themselves? Where was I when Tom Hardy was experimenting? Probably watching Jurassic Park for the fiftieth time while eating chocolate chips from the bag, that's where. Sigh.

"the form" can you explain that part?

I think he's saying he likes the way a man looks. That he's appreciative of male beauty, to put it in the grossest way imaginable.

Thank God for Tom Hardy.

This is really awesome, and not just for the obvious reasons (and for the jealous reasons of who was the lucky guy who got to do the experimenting). You know that other major (male) actors have done the bicurious thing, but I don't know of another emerging actor who has ever admitted it.

His lips should have received a separate special effects credit for 'Inception' ... they had a very special effect on my boy parts...
