Say what you will about Hayden Christensen's actual abilities within his chosen profession of acting - although I think he was pretty good in both Shattered Glass and Life as a House - I don't think anybody can deny he's pretty enough. BD has a couple stills from his next movie Vanishing on 7th Street (not to mention the first poster for the film in a soooo tiny version you have to squint to make anything out, and what you can make out looks terrifically generic) that are reminding me of Hayden's good looks, anyway...

This is Brad Anderson's latest flick, by the way, an end-of-the-world thriller where something in The Darkness is killing people, and I've talked about a bunch of times before. Anderson made Session 9 and The Machinist and Transsiberian, each one underrated in its own way. The film co-stars John Leguizamo and (ugh) Thandie (ugh) Newton (ugh I hate her so much), and will hopefully come out some time this year.

Oh, dear...I'm getting The Happening flashbacks...
There is an argument to be made that absolutely nothing can be worse than The Happening...
