I Am Link

.
--- An Eyepatch For Olyphant - Breck Eisner directed the better than it shoulda been remake of Romero's The Crazies with Timothy Olyphant and his next project is perhaps going to be a remake of John Carpenter's Escape From New York and he talks over here about maybe perhaps using Tim to fill Kurt Russell's Snake Plissken boots. I can never ever get enough Tim so I say bring it on. Even if remaking EFNY seems a lil' bit blasphemous.

--- Da Scoobs - Not only did Joe finish off his own favorite episodes of Buffy countdown, but he posted his reader's countdown, tallied by him in an earlier post. Here's part one and here's part two. Epic.

--- Scary Movies - I told y'all about Stale Popcorn's one-Scream-scene-at-a-time series yesterday - well Glenn's already made it through the second scene of the first film. Aww Si'ds big ridiculous virginal nightgown. And then he wrote up some love for Gus Van Sant's Psycho remake too. On a roll, man.

--- Birthday Billy Boy - I saw it was Billy Wilder's birthday the other day - or, ya know, woulda been if he hadn't died in 2002 - but never got around to posting anything... but Kim Morgan did. And she done better than anything I coulda, natch.

--- Celebrate - I guess Jake doesn't have to feel too shitty about shitty Prince of Persia - it did just pass Tomb Raider to become the highest grossing video game movie ever made. What a claim!

--- Not Gonna Read It - Peter Travers at Rolling Stone has apparently seen and reviewed Christopher Nolan's Inception. I'm staying away from as much info as I can still, so it's a no go for me. But it's apparently positive. Not that Travers is ever anything but.

--- The Segel Conundrum - I love that an interview with Jason Segel can swoop and swivel from which is his favorite Muppet to his own weird dick with such ease. He is a hero.
