--- Layers O Slayer - Have you been keeping up with Joe's Big Bad Buffy Countdown? He's listing off his top 30 favorite episodes; so far we've gotten 30-26 and 25-21. All choice.
--- American Animal - Glenn shows us the underwhelming American poster for Animal Kingdom, a film he's been championing for a bit that's apparently getting a release here in the States in August. The Aussie posters that he also shows us are so much better. Still, curious about this flick. I love a good evil lady performance, I do, and it's apparently got a whopper.

--- Double Dip - Miss Stacie Ponder set her laser-beams upon both [REC]2 and Neil Marshall's Centurion yesterday, and came up with happy thoughts towards both. I've already had the pleasure of the former and as for the latter, well yippeie-ki-yay motherfucker it's screening in Brooklyn at the end of this month! Score! Besides Centurion, the Northside Film Festival is also showing Todd Solondz's mesmerizing Life During Wartime and James Franco's much-discussed queer short, The Feast of Stephen! Holy crap!
--- Names - This is a list of names: Tom Tykwer. The Wachowskis. Ian McKellan. Natalie Portman. James McAvoy. Tom Hanks. Oh and Halle Berry. Yes that's in lessening order as it strolls along. But it's also some people that are maybe making a movie together. An adaptation of David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas (haven't read it). Anything Tykwer's ever attached to, I care.
--- And finally, somebody made this video for Psycho's 50th Anniversary yesterday, and it is spectacular.

Cloud Atlas is an amazing book. Seriously one of my favorites of all time. Completely unfilmable. I bet that one never happens.
Ooh I will add it to my pile of "ones to read" then.
