--- Roamin' Romans - The red band trailer for Neil Marshall's Centurion can be seen over at BD. Why aren't you in my face, movie???
--- K.O. !!! - Edgar Wright tweeted something about Bill Hader's involvement in Scott Pilgrim and Slash theorizes reasonably that it's Bill's voice doing the vdieo-game proclamations heard in the trailer. I love Bill Hader. Also Zach Galifianakis might be the new Mr. Limpet. Mkay.

--- Somewhere's Out There - The trailer for Sofia Coppola's Somewhere popped online last night, watch it here. I haven't watched it yet though, my computer was acting up last night. Is it good? I hope it's good!
--- K.O. 'd !!! - Steven Soderbergh's Knockout ain't Knockout no more but now called Haywire, and is due out in January. That's the movie with Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum and Ewan McGregor in it. Mmhmm.

--- Hobbling Along Hobbit - Speaking of Mr. McKellan, he says things are actually looking good for the Lord of the Rings prequel. (via Sean) You know, despite just having lost its director, and all.
--- And finally, Kim Morgan took on the glorious Werckmeister Harmonies yesterday in a piece worth checking out. Also, if you haven't, see that movie already. Here's my review. Tarr's images haunt me.

Once again, anything not involving footage of the actual movie makes me incredibly excited to see Scott Pilgrim. Those posters are excellent -- hopefully I can just stare at them until somebody shoves me into the theater at the last possible minute.
I like Amber Heard, and feel that All the Boy Loves Mandy Lane is vastly underrated.
I too have a soft spot for Heard, Joel, but every time I've brought her up before people have shouted at me about how terrible she is and how she ruins everything she touches, so I felt the need to preface that. I like big chunks of Mandy Lane - including Heard - but a lot of it didn't work for me either. Course I should see it again, it's been ages.

Centurion is playing on June 27th. I'll be in California, which upsets me. But I thought you should know.
Michael, I hadn't seen that and probably would've missed it - Thank you!!!
