I want to say Out of Africa, but I haven't really seen it. there's a train in it, isn't there? Also, that's meryl in the hat, surely?

It isn't Out of Africa, Jamer.

Ghost and the Darkness?

That's the title of that Val Kilmer movie about the tigers, right?

Jason Adams said...

That is the title of the tiger movie with Val Kilmer, Tedums, but the tiger movie with Val Kilmer is not the movie these pictures are from.

Dammit. I know I recognize these, but I'm at a total loss...

Perhaps...oh, what's the one with Daniel Day Lewis and Winona Ryder? The one about the Salem Witch trials? The name escapes me right now.

The Crucible! Thanks, Wikipedia! That one.

Also, what's the header today?

Simon said...

Never mind. I just noticed the cars.

A pre-WW2-set European movie?

Jason Adams said...

Nope Simon, it isn't The Crucible.

The banner's from 1963's fun-times-in-an-asylum flick Shock Corridor.

Shadow of the Vampire?

Hooray yes, brian 5, you got it! It's always these tough ones that I wish I had prizes for this contest. But I don't, for many reasons up to and including I'm cheap. So just revel in the fact that you win and beat everybody, brian! Everybody else sucks!* brian's the winner!

(*no, everybody doesn't suck for the record, I'm just slipping my way out of prize responsibility, go with me here)

Woohoo! It was the shot of the door that tipped me off, and the next two frames clinched it.

Hey, I'll take ridiculously over-the-top effusive congratulations over a tangible prize any day of the week. Yippee!
