I Am Very Very Upset Right Now

.

Seriously. Very upset. But I spoiled Lost the other week so I won't say anything explicit right here in this post. If you want to say anything about last night's episode, hit the comments here. Sean T. Collins wrote up his thoughts, always worth reading, over here.

And I'm actually gonna be recapping these final few episodes of the series for Celebrity Beehive; that isn't up yet but I'll update this post with a link once it is. UPDATE: Here's the link!

Seriously. Very upset. I cried in the shower this morning, y'all.

ETA - And SciFiWire has word that the show's finale is now running 2 and a half hours long, half an hour longer than previously announced. Apparently they shot so much vital stuff it's all gotta go in. Fine by me.

The LOST showrunners are adept at pulling out the rug from underneath us -- it was shocking and tough on viewers like me who loved Jin and Sun. But "Kwon" was written on the cave ceiling and posed the "which one" riddle? Is the Kwon candidate their daughter? I guess anything is possible now. This show still amazes me and I've been rewarded from sticking with it from ep 1!

Well my guess is that if we were to cut back to the cave ceiling, dashdog, the "Kwon" would be crossed out now altogether. I think they're only candidates until Not-Locke gets them to kill themselves or each other, and then once they're dead they're not candidates anymore. His plot is to eliminate all the candidates this way.

But yeah I saw one of them dying, or neither, but I really didn't see them both dying. Ugh too much! Too damn much.

Yep, I cried several times last night...that final shot of their hands was just haunting...I'll remember it always....I'm now hoping against hope that the sideways reality is more real than I've suspected it to be in the past...I need them to have a happy ending...I've loved those two, esp. Sun, since the start...it's been a hard day!

Yeah, this is so weird, because they are of course fictional characters, but watching three of the less than a dozen remaining Oceanic 815'ers go was just devestating, and honestly, has me prepared for anything in the upcoming weeks. Of the people I never thought would go, the list was Sun, Hurley, and Jack. I'm now thinking that list has no names on it-it could be anyone.

Just watched it and I am only a little ashamed to admit I bawled like a baby. Like John T said, they are only fictional characters, but I guess we've been watching them so long that I got way more attached than I realized.

Great recap, by the way!
