Quote of the Day

.
If you've got a good memory on you that holds on to incredibly random things maybe you recall that when I reviewed Werner Herzog's My Son My Son What Have Ye Done? I went a little bit loony. But I'm telling you, man, you can't help it with this amazing movie! Want proof? Then here, gaze upon the final paragraph of Roger Ebert's review of the movie:

"I have now performed an excellent job of describing the movie. Can you sense why I enjoyed it? It you don't like it, you won't be able to claim I misled you. I rode on an ostrich once. Halfway between Oudtshoorn and the Cango Caves, it was."

See? This movie makes crazy things just topple out of your brain. And that, my friends, is why I love it so very dearly - twas my #5 movie of the year 2009 - and am desperate to watch it right this second. Dammit be on DVD movie!

I saw Mr. Shannon in Our Town recently.
He enjoys the eye contact.
