Waltz Away For Viggo

.
Right before Xmas we got word that David Cronenberg's next flick was probably definitely gonna be Talking Cure, based on a play about the rivalry between Freud and Jung. At that time it was set to star Michael Fassbender as Jung and Christoph Waltz as Freud in a glorious Inglourious reunion.

Well now it appears that Cristoph has waltzed on over to a different project and now it'll be a Freudian face-off between Fassbender and Cronenberg-groupie Viggo Mortensen. Watching Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen act off each other in a David Cronenberg film? Sure, I'll take that! And then there's this choice bit from the article:

"Keira Knightley will play Sabina, a disturbed young woman brought to see Jung by her father. Jung (Fassbender) and Sabina have an affair, and the producers are promising me “lots of spirited sex”."

Well that's it. It's officially time for me to make myself a Keira Knightley suit and start living my life as her double. Bye, everybody! (and thanks for the heads-up, Jon!)

If it wasn't so damned exciting, it would be downright embarrassing for my dearest, fondest, most closely-held fantasy to see the light of day in this fashion. I feel like I should go buy a lottery ticket.

This project just got even more awesome Mars Films (French Distributors) on their facebook page are reporting that Vincent Cassel is also to star in the movie. Even though I have my doubts about Keira's jaw, I Mortensen, Fassbender and now Cassel and even Keira, just makes me want to squeal.

Le casting de THE TALKING CURE le prochain film de David Cronenberg a été annoncé Viggo Mortensen et Michael Fassbender joueront respectivement Sigmund Freud et Carl Jung, accompagnés de Keira Knightley et Vincent Cassel

One more thing- JA, could you please take Keira's place in this film too? So she won't spoil it with her stupid face?

You have NO idea how excited I am about Viggo coming on board for 'Cure'. Him and Michael in the same film is just unbelievable. And to top it off, Cronenberg's my favorite director! Michael's sex scenes will be a treat because he's not shy. He's a Jr. Viggo!

Will they try to out sexy one another?
