Aww, this news is actually making me tear up. At The Movies, the program long hosted by Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert, then Ebert and a guest, then those two jackholes I won't name who are responsible for killing it, and then Micheal Phillips and A.O. Scott, the latter two whom I'd actually grown fond of watching, has been canceled. The last show will air in August. The end of an era. That there was a show that promoted real film conversation between two intelligent adults beaming into my little podunk town when I was a kid was what made me the dork I am today. Let's remember the good times...

Total bummer. After ruining the show in its incarnation with the two nameless jackasses to whom you refer, At The Movies had again become relevent, informative, entertaining, and well-worth watching. Phillips and Scott have been great. Unless something changes, I will most definitely be missing them.
That video was hilarious!
But the show really died, I think, when Siskel died.
Exactly what Andrew said.
I feel like an asshole that I completely left Richard Roeper's name off my list of people who've hosted the show. I completely forgot about him. I never warmed to him, but he still was co-host for awhile. Sorry, Dick!
