Quote of the Day

.
In keeping with their reputation as a respectable news source for adults, FOX News issued this statement in response to LL Cool J's "Hell no" upon learning that the show he was set to appear on, called Real American Stories, was suddenly gonna be hosted by Sarah Palin (via Wonkette):

"Real American Stories” features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fit that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career."

I really just wanted to use that picture. I love you, Deep Blue Sea! But still, hilarious. Stomp around in your little sandbox some more, FOX News!

Fox is such a passive-aggressive 12-year-old, it's hilarious.

Who's this Mr. Smith?

Oh right I forgot to make that part clear - they're using his real name, James Todd Smith. Because exactly, passive-aggressive.

"LL Cool J's 'Hell no'"

Well, if I didn't have cause to admire Mr. J. Todd Smith before, I do now.

Also, my Word Verification code for this post is "Oat hoses" which sounds as if it must be applicable to someone in this story. Jeebus, Fox.
