--- Grimace, Sam - I'm only linking to this article at io9 about the techno-geek behind-the-scenes stuff of James Cameron's Avatar because it includes that picture of Sam Worthington seen there to the right. Classic. There's a similarly creepy shot of Zoe Saldana over there, so check it, if you like to laugh at beautiful people making ugly faces, as any sane person ought to.
--- Looking Back - Y'all would be wise to click on through the three parts (one and two and three) of A Blog Next Door's run-down of the decade that was in movies. Good stuff right up through his number one, it is.
--- Looking Ahead - Meanwhile you can see a great big heap of what's coming out over the months ahead at Club Silencio. So much to look forward to! And this is only the first half of the post!

--- Fucking Weinsteins Again - Alex Aja's Piranha remake - which spilled some graphic guts onto the internet this week - has been moved from its April release all the way back to August. What is this, example number five billion and thirty of Harvey Weinstein shitting on a horror movie? How does he even have any shit left to shit upon them anyway? What a shitting maniac!
--- After Nine - Big stuff to come over at Final Girl - Stacie's gunning for 10 movies apiece from 10 categories which she has chosen for the future year in reviews. She explains it better than I just did, so read what she says, but the point is, that's 100 movies! (In related news, I know math!) That she'll be reviewing! And any chance to read what Stacie writes is like drinking a heavenly dew and/or nectar, of some kind, which is delicious.
--- Mo' Colin - I'd been wondering just recently what the hell the deal was with this movie - Ondine, Neil Jordan's film with Colin Farrell, is coming out on VOD this Summer, with a limited theatrical run after that. I will watch anything either of those Irish fellows do, so I am in.
--- Selling Points - Master of poster studies Glenn has gone and named the greatest posters of the 00's at Stale Popcorn so check that out. It's in two parts, #50-26 (with some runners-up) here, and #25-1 here. I knew his #1 before he even posted it! There could be no other.
--- Chinny Chin Chin - I've been meaning to link to this fantastic image over at CHUD all week - they got the cover artist for Fantastic Monsters of Filmland, Basil Gogos, to paint them a poster for The Wolf Man remake, and it's terrific. That's a hint of it to the left there; click on over for the whole thing.
--- Still Moment - Over at StinkyLulu a fun new game has appeared - a single frame from a moment in a film corresponding to the date. And guess. So simple, yet so much pleasure to be had. Also, lest anyone forget, this Sunday marks the Class of 2009 Supporting Actress Blog-a-thon, and surely there will be mountains of glory to read, there is every year. Head over there to see it then.
--- Show Ghost - Last week a German language version of this popped up, but now here we go with the proper English sort - via Twitch here's the trailer for Roman Polanski's The Ghost Writer, with Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor and Olivia fucking Williams:

--- And finally, I'm just stealing Towleroad's post title here: Josh Hartnett and a puppy. S'all you need, right?

According to ShockTillYouDrop, Pirahna won't be in 3-D either. I am livid right now.
