Hey There, Balls Deep!

.

I hope that if Ari Graynor ever stumbles upon this here blog she takes my constant calling her "Balls Deep" - after a memorable exchange that forever endeared her to me in Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist - with the humor it's intended. I love you, Ari Graynor! You have a lifetime of goodwill for turning drunk-ass Caroline into such a trip. Indeed I love you so much I'll post that picture of you from some movie I'd never heard anything of til now, called Holy Rollers, via Slash. Rollers is set to play at Sundance and is described thusly:

"This crime drama stars Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland, Adventureland) as a young Hasidic man named Sam who is seduced by money, power and opportunity, and becomes an international Ecstasy smuggler. Sam struggles to choose between his strong religious background and the seductive pull of the outside world. This original script written by Antonio Macia is inspired by actual events in the late 1990’s when Hasidim were recruited as mules to smuggle drugs from Europe into the United States. The film also stars Justin Bartha, Danny A. Abeckaser, Ari Graynor, and Jason Fuchs."

Ooh I hope her character is like Caroline but on E instead of booze! Imagine the hilarity! You can see a couple more pictures at the link. And see, I love Ari so much I'm pushing a fucking Jesse Eisenberg (ugh) movie here. That's love. That's balls deep love.

No comment on this post, JA -- but wanted to let you know that Amy Sedaris is on The Adventures of New Christine tonight. Sweet. Also, LOVE your banner -- I often feel like that kid in The Others -- I actually feel like he looks right now! The holiday shoppers in my store worked my last nerve today and I can't wait to shut the doors at closing time. Where's that holiday cheer people speak of??? Nick

Oh is she? Dammit, I'll probably miss it, I have dinner plans after work. ACK. Oh well I'll just download it. Why doesn't Amy have another show? This world is cruel.

And I'm TOTALLY feeling like that kid in The Others this week too, Nick, that's why I used him for the banner. Just blown the fuck out, ugh. I need the holiday break to be here NOW.
