Oh This Will Be Terrible

And yet I am still thinking about seeing it, and yet I am even spending my time posting on it, and that's all Hugh Dancy's fault. Damn you, Hugh Dancy! Will you please start making movies that I don't feel the need to go into the theater wearing the Groucho special?

Anyway, I speak of Coach, his new flick where he plays "a slacker trust-fund type" who "learns a very important lesson" by "coaching a kid's soccer team." UGH. Stab me in the face why don't you, Hugh Dancy? Just sneak into my home in the middle of the night and stab me in the face. (With your penis.) Eek. Trailer. (via)

"Love is the goal"!!! Oh barf.
I might never stop barfing.
Right into the theater.

I never did get around to seeing Adam though, now that I'm thinking about it. I will when it's on DVD inevitably. And I am sure that I'll just find his Aspergers to be the most charming Aspergers ever.

ETA I was just watching the trailer again and I realized that the soccer field that this thing was shot on is the one directly across the street from my office. Right there! I can see it from my window! Curses! Foiled again! My sack-and-chloroform-rag with Hugh's name on it will have to sit idle a little longer. Sadness.

Oh, who am I kidding. I can't compete with that hotness. Sigh.

One of these days, an actor is going to go missing in New York, and I think we'll all know where to look first. :)

Jesus Christ, Mamie Gummer looks so much like Meryl streep.

Beautiful Hugh Dancy was pretty freakin' amazing in Adam.

But this trailer does not make me want to see this "Coach" movie at all.

Totally agree with you about Coach. It looks terrible, and I'll be seeing it, too, just because Hugh Dancy will be on screen for most of the movie.

Adam was the one thing he's done recently that I really admire. He did great work in that, so definitely look for the DVD. I saw it at the premiere and he was sitting 4 rows right behind me!

Till then, we'll just have to get out our Elizabeth DVD's and watch Helen Mirren seduce him again.

Man...for a brief moment, I thought this was a theatrical version of the Craig T. Nelson TV show.
