I suppose twas just a matter of time before one of the alternate endings for Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity made its way online... this was apparently the original ending for the film before it got man-handled by the suits. (via)

(SPOILER if you haven't watched it yet): I think I prefer the version shown in theaters. This one is creepy, but the cops shooting her doesn't make a lot of sense to me. She was holding the knife, but wasn't coming after them with it, and it seems that they could have easily subdued her without having to shoot her to death.
both of those gone now, too....JEEEEEEEEEEZUS, Paramount...calm the ef down! Are they worried we won't buy the dvd next year, cuz, ummm, we will!
That's actually the ending I saw (not in theaters)... I still need to see the theatrical version.
