Lookin' Good, Barbie

.
Nat's got another of his weekly columns up at Towleroad today about the movies out this weekend and takes the opportunity to review Whip It!, which he appears to have thoroughly enjoyed. The bit that caught my Air-Graynor-adoring-eye was this though:

"Just about the only element of the movie that doesn't work beautifully is the romance between Bliss and a would be rock star named Oliver (it's certainly watchable but I suspect it won't hold up well to a second viewing >>> fast forward!) It distracts from the all girl fun. Why would Drew, who was never so shy about bisexuality back in the day, lean so hard on the girl meets boy subplot when the movie already has so much going on? It's not like there aren't lesbians in the Roller Derby. Just about the only nod to the ladies who love ladies is the smoking hot Eva Destruction (Ari Graynor, previously the comic highlight of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist) who has eyes for Rosa Sparks (Eve) and vocally admires Bliss's moves"

Awww, does this mean she doesn't talk about anything going "Balls deep"? Sadness. I guess ladies who love ladies might talk about "Balls deep" sometimes though. I mean, balls are everyone's. To talk about, to love, to appreciate and honor and discuss, in sickness and in health. Balls are not just for those with them or wanting them.

OMG WTF am I talking about? I need to go to put down this second large Mochachino I think; I am clearly losing my mind.

In related news, Ari Graynor just earned herself an MNPP label all her own. Boo-ya!

I'm working on a film shoot with Ari Graynor right now! I literally just said goodbye to her five minutes before reading this. It's called "Lucky" and she's the lead opposite Colin Hanks. You'll have to see it when it comes out sometime next year because it's Ari fully loaded. She's VERY sweet and funny -- worth all your praise.
