---Prey The Lord - Wes Craven's next horror movie has been retitled, from the curious 25/8 to the less curious My Soul To Take. Still I hope it's good. I want to go into Scream 4 hopeful like. Soul's not out til next year but supposedly a trailer will show itself soon.

"As far as the X-Files movie I’d like to do next, if we get a chance to do it, would be a return to the heart and soul of the mythology, which is the alien-oriented conspiracy. I think it’s natural for The X-Files to have another movie in 2012, so we’ll see if we get to do it."

"For a man so beautiful, his inherent existential angst almost seems perverse. But it also draws us to him -- we want to help Monty Clift, and I have a feeling, no matter what that man did, I would forgive him anything, even if he’d surely become one of the most unreliable presences in your life."
That about sums it up.
--- The Lives of Tourists - The guy who directed the phenomenal film The Lives of Others - his name is entire-alphabet-tastic Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck - is directing that film The Tourist that was supposed to star Sam Worthington and Charlize Theron but Theron's now been replaced by Angelina Jolie. Sounds good, anyway. Or will he be swallowed whole like also-wonderful-German-director Oliver Hisrchbiegel was when he came to Hollywood for Nicole Kidman's flick The Invasion? Guess we'll see. Anyway, thinking about TLoO just makes me miss Ulrich Mühe all over again. Sigh.

--- Wonderful Willem - Willem Dafoe is making the chat-rounds for Antichrist - I posted about his talk with Roger Ebert yesterday, and now comes a longer one with AICN today that's worth reading too. It feels slightly premature to say such a thing, not having even seen the film yet, but I'm already hoping that he gets some awards recognition this year for Antichrist, because he just seems like an actor worth celebrating.

"He strikes me as a little young for Fandral (he's a god, but he's seen and done some stuff), and not nearly dashing enough."
No dashing? Not dashing??? Them's crazy words that make no sense.

"What can we expect from a 'Joss Whedon' epsiode of Glee? An episode of Glee.
... Whom will I kill? When will that go away? Is death really the only thing I'm known for? I'd hope not. You know how many people in the world actually die? ALL OF THEM. You know how many I've killed? Statistically, somewhat fewer."
I don't know, dude - Tara counts for at least a billion real world deaths. And Anya for several times that. Says I!

I don't know...by the end of the X-Files, the Alien Mythology got so played out, it's the last thing I want to see in an X-Files movie. I prefer the movies to be more episodic...and mimic their best monster of the week moments. And they said that's what the last one was kind of going to be....but what we got was an overlong version of their weak episodes. I was so crushed.
Plus, what was the deal with both movies have Mulder and Scully be dependent on getting info from a pedophile?
