And Now For A Trio Of Fun & Freaky Pictures

First up, via BD comes a pair of new images from the film Splice. Splice is by the dude who directed Cube and it stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley as bio-engineers who have bio-engineered Something Wrong. We've discussed the film before. Still dunno when it'll be out, but it is supposedly very good. I'd expect no less from Lady Polley!

And next also via BD we have our first look at Deborah Ann Woll - aka my beloved Jessica from True Blood - in Darren Lynn Bousman's remake of the Troma "classic" Mother's Day.

Bousman has never made a movie I've found anything less than completely unwatchable so I don't really have any hopes for this movie, but I do really love Woll, hence me posting the picture. Finis!

Well, Saws 2-4 is certainly a strike against him. The original Mother's Day is terrible...so I don't know why tey are trying to remake it. Or did someone take my advice about re-making crappy films as good ones and leave the stuff that is already good alone?
