All engines appear to be firing up for the press push for Paranormal Activity, the Blair Witch-esque haunting movie that's coming out in just 10 friggin' days (Sept. 25th)! Via STYD comes the poster:
Not the most eye-catching poster ever but whatever, I just wanna see the movie so I don't much care either way. Just the fact that it exists, a poster, makes me happy because it means a release is real. STYD also says this:
"We've been told there will be big announcements tomorrow regarding the film! The official website will also launch at 9am PT, so stay tuned."
So I'll keep my eyes peeled for that. They're also now calling it's release "a limited theatrical run" so... yeah. That better mean it's playing here and at a respectable hour, yo!

I am so fucking jealous.
I'm also defying the poster by seeing it alone. But it's in the paramount screening room with the reclining suede seats. So I think I'll be fine.
okay. so it's a great movie. everyone in the audience was thoroughly freaked out. BUT i can't help but feel that a) it could have done a lot more in terms of scaring the shit out of the audience. and b) it needed to be trimmed by about twenty minutes. it's still a great movie, but it could have been better. i look forward to your review.
