--- Funny Fox - In today's "Reasons Why I Have A Crush On Megan Fox, Yes I Do, And You're Hatin' Is Only Making It Stronger" news, here's her being forced in an interview to shut up and put a bag over her head and playing along marvelously.
--- Three-D Undead - So some nobody jack-off is making a prequel to Night of the Living Dead? And it's gonna be all in CG? And it's gonna tell the back-stories of the original film's characters? Err. But the sad thing is... and forgive me for saying it, George... but the lack of involvement by Romero himself here doesn't seem like a bad thing in itself these days. Oh I'm sorry, George, I love you, you're forever swell, but you're kinda shitting on your legacy lately. Prove me wrong!
--- No Bell For Arbo - Proving that I don't always need to agree with an opinion to find it amusing - I'm open-minded y'all! - I link to this anti-Kristen Bell rant by Arbogast brought on by the poster (which I hadn't seen yet) for her rom-com with Duhamel When In Rome.
--- The Bodie Beat - The best thing you're gonna read on the legacy of Patrick Swayze is by Kim Morgan. I actually dreamt about this article last night.
--- A Case Of The Mendes - Always gotta second it whenever anybody gives Sam Mendes some love since that seems to be a divisive opinion these days - over at A Blog Next Door mB takes a look back at the astonishing array of actors in Road to Perdition.
--- Prepare To Drool - I was just going to link to StinkyLulu's write-up of Anna Paquin's Oscar-winning performance in The Piano and mention that it's been far too long since I'd watched that film and that I plan on revisiting it ASAP because of this write-up and how this led to me discovering my boyfriend had never seen The Piano at all ever and how aghast and even more determining to watch it soon that made me... I was just going to mention all that but then Stinky went and posted a batch of gratuitous shots of Mandy Patinkin in Yentl that swallowed whole all my attentions so I forgot all that other stuff. Mmm furry.
--- Nic's Snip - I don't know how I've gone all week without mentioning this but yes, Tomas Alfredson, the director of the amazing Let the Right One In, is making his next movie, called The Danish Girl, with Nicole Kidman. It's about the first person to have a sex-change operation. Charlize Theron was going to play Nicole's character's wife but she dropped out, which sucks. But bless that Nicole Kidman lady for giving the real directors jobs time and time again.
--- Bug-Eyed Badgley - Aww, he's adorable. Adorkable, even. (via)
--- And finally, we have our 1 billionth confirmation of me being a total dweeb: via Slash comes the concept-art video "fly-through" for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that is being built down at Universal Studios Orlando:
I watched this video last night with rapt attention like a nard. God I am lame. But OH MY GOD I WANT TO GO TO THERE.
