Whassup Justin

.

Every time Justin Theroux comes up lately it's been for his writing or his directing and every time I post on those things I express a desire to see him in front of a camera again (clothing optional of course) so I was extremely pleased to read this news (via DH):

"Justin Theroux is set to play the villain in the comedy "Your Highness" for Universal Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.

Theroux joins Danny McBride, James Franco, Natalie Portman and Zooey Deschanel in the film, which centers on an arrogant, lazy prince (McBride) who must complete a quest to save his father's kingdom.

Theroux will play Leezar, an evil wizard with a bejeweled magical staff who kidnaps a princess (Deschanel). Ben Best and McBride penned the script."

Does David Gordon fucking Green, director of this movie, really not merit the slightest mention here? Shame on you, writer of this news. Shame. Anyway, I hope Justin plays this bad-guy role just the same way he played the other bad-guy role I instantly think of him in:

Yes. Just like that please. I mean, there must've been zero-percent-body-fatted punk leprechauns in the Middle Ages too, right? And insert your own "bejeweled magical staff" joke right here please.

1) "Wizard" to me reads "lots of bulky robes," which kind of dampens the enthusiasm

and

2) If it's David Gordon Green in "Pineapple Express" mode, I'm not sure he does merit a mention. That was a good movie, but not the best example of his directorial prowess.

Sorry, you're probably looking for ab talk.
