Being a tad, ahem, older, I do remember the old NYC. It was sleazy, smelly, crime riddled; and yet, it was so damn authentic. Last time I was in Times Square I could not believe what it had become. I mean, it's nice to walk down the street with out fearing for your life, but all of that Disney vibe...sheesh, I don't know. I sort of miss the Big Apple it proudly showed its bruises.
