Ivana Baquero, who played Ofelia in Guillermo del Toro's scrumptious Pan's Labyrinth, turns 15 today. What has she been up to since then? Not a whole lot, actually (cinematically speaking, that is... I imagine she's got that whole crazy thing called "school" going on off the screen). Since Labyrinth in 2006 she's only been in one film called The Anarchist's Wife last year. She's got a film with Kevin Costner coming up called The New Daughter, in which she plays Costner's daughter gone wrong. Mysterious burials mounds are to blame! Anyway, not sure when that's out. But a happy birthday to her today! And don't go eating any enormous grapes when the fairies specifically tell you not to, girl!
