Happy Birthday, Jason Patric

.
Y'all have seen the trailer for My Sister's Keeper, right? The movie where Abby Breslin was birthed in order to help out her cancer-riddled sister kidney-wise but then decides,"Ya know? Notsomuch," and tries to sue her parents with help from Jack Donaghy? I'm of two minds on this movie - normally, I would be all, no way in fuck thank you but nuh-uh. But then... well I do love me a good weep-fest now and then - I cried myself barren in The Notebook - and this one's making my tear-ducts do push-ups just from the trailer. I'd have to sneak off to the theater in the middle of the day, pretend I have a doctor's appointment, wear a disguise and never tell anyone ever that I went. But I might.

All that is my long introduction to the fact that what really keeps catching my eye (besides the tears obviously) in the trailer is Jason Patric as Breslin's father. Because he's Jason Patric. And he's still fine.

So a happy 43rd birthday to him today. And yes, I just spun a weepie about leukemia into a post about pecs. Never say I don't have talent! Questionable though it may be... ahem. Anyway, if you'd like to see some of Mr. Patric's younger, Lost Boys-era self, which is how I wished him a happy birthday last year, click here.

Speaking of Jason Patric, do you know anything about "Downloading Nancy?" I'm running across trailers and clips. Heard anything good about it?
