A Day With Kara Thrace

.

Oh dear, am I gonna have to start watching 24 again? Katee Sackhoff just joined the cast for next season. I didn't watch any of this past season, I think it aired opposite something that was more important to me (although I'm totally to lazy to figure out what right now); did any of y'all?

If anyone wants to tell me everything that happened in as few sentences as you can so I am caught up and don't have to watch the episodes myself I would worship you forever. Thanks!

Kiefer was on trial for things he did earlier, all the torture and stuff in earlier days.
FBI needed his help bcs Tony came back from the dead and was evil.
Then Tony was not evil, but a double agent really working with Chloe and that old dude who's name I can never remember.
There's a new female president. Her son's dead, looks like suicide, only it's not. It's all part of the conspiracy. Presidents husband finds out and is nearly killed, hostage, Jack saves him, bla bla.
White House is under siege by Tony Todd. Pres' daughter is also in the White House.
Old dude who's name I can never remember sacrifices himself under the siege to save the Pres.
Tony Todd is killed, and we learn there's a bigger bad hanging around (as always) in the shape of Jon Voight.
Stuff happens, much involving the FBI agent closest to Jack, a woman, who learns a thing or two about torture, the necessity of it and such (which is important later on an possibly in Day 8).
Jeanine Garafalo is FBI's own personal Chloe, and is mostly awesome, much like Chloe.
There are moles at FBI. They get caught.
Presidents daughter manipulates mother president to fire her chief of staff, and gets the job herself.
Jon Voight is only a minor part of a bigger conspiracy.
Jon Voight gets caught and is assassinated by the presidents daughter, who is later caught and turned in by mother president, much to her husbands dismay. But this president is an honorary one, much like Palmer.
Tony is not good after all, and almost kills Jack. But then he isn't really evil, he just wants revenge on Michelle's murder, which these evil bigger conspirataries are the cause of.
Chloe gets naught to do.
Kim comes back, is a target (surprise, surprise), but is actually helpful this time and retries some valuable intel.
Oh, and Jack is exposed to a biological weapon somewhere around here and only has hours to live, but some treatment involving family blood might save his life. Kim wants to help, but Jack wants to die.
One of the higher up crooks is caught and the female FBI agent is going to torture him. We don't get to see what she does until the day ends though.
And also Kim tells bio-doctor that she wants to help Jack even though he doesn't want to, so presumably, Jack doesn't die.
Tony is sent to prison.
I think that's pretty much it.
