The Greatest Movie...

... that I haven't seen yet but will be Tivo'ing tonight (it's playing past my bedtime) to watch over the weekend cuz it sounds downright bonkers in the best sort of way?

That's the trailer above if you wanna watch that. TCM is airing this film as a part of their Underground Series at "around 2am" tonight, and I highly recommend you head over to their page for the film and read what they have to say about it because I think once you do you'll agree with me that this is not something to be missed.

The film is the self-proclaimed masterpiece of the actor-turned-director Timothy Carey (if I had an IMDb page I can only hope my picture on it would be as awesome as his, seen to the left there, is); I was sold on his total awesomeness finally upon reading at that link of his reputation amongst his fellow actors:

"He was such a notorious scene-stealer that he often clashed with some of his more famous co-stars. Stories abound in Hollywood about his famous confrontations on film sets; Kirk Douglas reportedly hated his guts. Carey allegedly got beat up by Richard Widmark on the set of The Last Wagon (1956) and was practically choked to death by Seymour Cassel during the filming of The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976). He was kicked in the ribs by Karl Malden and stabbed with a pen by Marlon Brando during the filming of One-Eyed Jacks (1961)."

Kick ass. Now that sounds like my kinda prick!
