--- No Surprise Here - Did anyone really expect Avatar to not end up being the most expensive movie ever made? Once James Cameron announced he was making another movie I knew it would be. Still, according to that link (which is actually discussing this article at TIME magazine):

"... the reporter got to see some footage from Avatar and claims that he “couldn’t tell what was real and what was animated”. John Quittner writes: “Even knowing that the 9-ft.-tall blue, dappled dude couldn’t possibly be real. The scenes were so startling and absorbing that the following morning, I had the peculiar sensation of wanting to return there, as if Pandora were real.”"

Duuuuuuude. Duuuuuuude. Make this movie be in my fucking face now please.

--- Worth The Wait - The much-hyped French horror flick Martyrs is finally being released here onto DVD on April 28th, so we can see what the fuss has been about then.

--- Barnabas Calling - According to this article at MTV, Dark Shadows: The Movie is very much a real happening, with Tim Burton directing (who else) Johnny Depp.
